PERRY HALL, Maryland (Daddyhood.net)

textingA dad disturbed over what he deemed to be inappropriate texts being exchanged between his 15-year-old daughter and her 42-year-old teacher decided to take matter into his own hands.

The teacher went over to the house to talk to the father.

When the father asked him to leave and he refused, the dad picked up a baseball bat.

“The girl’s father told the teacher to leave, but the teacher refused,” according to a press release from police. “The girl’s father then struck the teacher with a baseball bat.

“The officer found that the teacher sustained minor injuries and advised him of the process for swearing out a complaint of second-degree assault (a misdemeanor),” the release continued. “The teacher said he did not wish to pursue charges.”

No charges have been filed against the dad or the teacher. The Crimes Against Children Unit is investigating.

The majority of parents who sounded off a local Maryland TV station’s Facebook page said they would have done the same thing.

So do you think the dad was right? How far would you go to get your point across? Sound off!
