AC Milan ponder move for Manchester United defender Eric Baill

AC Milan
could switch their attention to Manchester United
defender Eric Bailly after baulking at the €20million (£18m) price tag for Liverpool
's Dejan Lovren, reports Tuttosport newspaper.
New Rossoneri coach Marco Giampaolo wants to sign an experienced centre-back to partner Alessio Romagnoli for this season.
Liverpool want at least €20m for Lovren, while the 30-year-old also commands a current salary of €5m (£4.5m) per year.
According to Tuttosport newspaper, Milan are looking at alternatives in the Premier League, such as 25-year-old Manchester United figure Bailly.
He was a €38m (£34m) purchase from Villarreal in 2016, but never quite lived up to expectations.
He only has a year left on his current contract, so the Ivory Coast international could be a cheaper alternative.
Manchester United will also want to offload a central defender if they are successful in signing Harry Maguire.
Leicester have rejected two offers for the England international.
Rivals Inter Milan are in talks to sign Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United.
