Alvarez vs Golovkin, LIVE: Latest round-by-round updates

Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin will finally step into the ring once again in their long-awaited grudge match.
The Mexican was fortunate to be awarded a controversial draw in their first encounter and fans have been desperate to see the pair go toe-to-toe ever since.
There is plenty of bad blood between them with GGG branding Alvarez a cheat after he failed two drugs tests earlier this year.
The feud will be settled as T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas plays host and we'll find out who reigns supreme in the middleweight division later on tonight.
Stay tuned to Sportsmail's live feed throughout the evening for live round-by-round updates from JEFF POWELL in Sin City.

From sparring in 2011 - to this grudge match, it's been a long road
In 2011, a 20-year-old Canelo Alvarez accepted an offer to spar against Gennady Golovkin, with both men desperate to break into the big time.
Eight years later, and it doesn't get much bigger. Las Vegad, thousands of expectant fans inside T-Mobile Arena and millions more watching on TV to see who will come out on top in their grudge match.
The path to Saturday night's showdown has been a turbulent one since that sparring session in Big Bear California almost a decade ago.

Golovkin's wearing his game face
The Kazakh's dressing room has a few of his national flags adorning the walls with that famous GGG silk gown in the corner, he's stretching off and already looks deadly serious about the task at hand.

Can Munguia challenge GGG or Alvarez?
Having Munguia fight on a card like this is designed to make fans aware of a potential challenger to both men in the main event later.
He was kept back from fighting GGG earlier in his fledgling career and still looks a touch too green but there would certainly bring fireworks. He'll take a shot to land a shot and as exciting as that is, it might expose him against world class opposition.
Jaime Munguia is next level ?? #CaneloGGG2

Jaime Munguia outclasses Brandon Cook
Munguia's hype train continues to gather pace with a comfortable win against Canadian Cook. The Mexican totally outgunned his opponent and the referee mercifully stepped in to prevent further punishment from Munguia, there was nothing coming back at him.
Some great exposure for the 21-year-old but he still looks raw and makes plenty of mistakes. It took him three rounds to get the win and remain unbeaten.

Tough night for Gary O'Sullivan
Gary 'Spike' O'Sullivan lasted less than one round against Canadian David Lemieux, who landed a picture perfect left hook to finish his opponent off in style. Lemieux was previously outclassed by Billy Joe Saunders but is now mandatory challenger to Golovkin, should the Kazakh win tonight.

Alvarez and Golovkin are in the building...
Both men have entered the T-Mobile Arena and looked at ease in their tracksuits, they've still got plenty of time to kill before their ring walks in around two hours time so there's no use in burning any unnecessary nervous energy.

Hello and welcome!
Good morning, or evening... whatever time it is where you are, welcome to our coverage of what could be a classic night of boxing. Canelo Alvarez takes on Gennady Golovkin once more and hopefully the judges can pick a winner this time, if neither man breaks the will of the other inside 12 rounds.
