have made a bid of £72million for Lille winger Nicolas Pepe, according to French outlet Telefoot
A number of Europe's top clubs have been interested in the Ivory Coast international, but now Arsenal have reportedly entered talks with the Ligue 1
24-year-old Pepe enjoyed a breakout year in France
and was valued at £60million after hitting 23 goals in 45 games last season.
Lille finished second in Ligue 1 behind champions PSG, and Pepe has been reported to be interested in joining the French giants if Neymar or Kylian Mbappe are to leave the club this summer.
'Nicolas is open to everything,' Pepe's agent Samir Khiat said.
'The aim is for him to sign in the right place. PSG is a possibility. Today, all parties need to reach an agreement. There are exchanges and discussions.
'He is wanted by a considerable number of clubs. For him the most important thing is to be wanted and to go to a good club in which he will play and continue to progress.'
Pepe has been on international duty with Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations, but they went out on penalties to Algeria on Thursday.
Arsenal have also been in pursuit of Wilfried Zaha, who has been valued at £80million by Crystal Palace.
They've already made a £25million bid for Kieran Tierney as they try to step up their hunt for the Celtic star's signature.
Plus, the Gunners are in a race with the likes of Spurs, Man United, and Liverpool for young Russian striker Fedor Chalov.
