Real Betis are reportedly looking to sign Nabil Fekir as they seek to replace Tottenham
target Giovani Lo Celso.
Lo Celso, who earned a considerable amount of praise for his performances last season, has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham.
As reported by Marca
, Real Betis are turning their attention to Fekir, who has entered the final year of his contract at Lyon.
Last season Lo Celso, who can play as an attacking midfielder or in a deeper position, scored nine goals in 32 appearances in La Liga, while he provided five assists.
Betis initially signed Lo Celso on loan from Paris Saint-Germain last summer but in April triggered their option to sign him permanently.
Fekir, meanwhile, scored nine times and set up seven goals in 29 Ligue 1 appearances.
Tottenham have already been active in the transfer market this summer, securing deals for Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, although they have loaned the latter back to Leeds.
