Juventus chairman Andrea Agnelli has identified Manchester City star Leroy Sane as a future transfer target.
The Serie A giants are keen to bring the German winger into their ranks as they look to sign 'a young Cristiano Ronaldo', according to Italian outlet CalcioMercato.
The report also claims Juve know a move is not feasible at the moment, given the significant financial outlay spent on bringing Ronaldo to Italy earlier this summer.
They are aware it may take a year or even two to finalise a deal for Sane, with the City star valued at €150 million (£135m), but they are prepared to wait to land one of the brightest youngsters in world football.
The former Schalke star was a surprise omission from Germany's World Cup squad after a stellar season with City, which saw him win the Premier League title and Carabao Cup.
Sane scored 10 goals and provided 15 assists in 32 league appearances as Pep Guardiola's side became the first team to reach 100 points.
As a result, the winger picked up the PFA young player of the year award, but he missed out on the 23-man squad to Russia with Bayer Leverkusen's Julian Brandt taking his place.
Sane made just three substitute appearances for a total of 30 minutes in City's opening three league games of the season but has been a constant presence in their last two.
He scored in the 3-0 win over Fulham last weekend before playing a part in one of the goals as City eased to a 5-0 victory over Cardiff on Saturday.
