Reconstructing a classic car like the 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 is a lot of work. It takes time, money, expertise and forearm strength that, frankly, most of us just don't have.
But even this writer's dainty and well-moisturized hands can handle the force and friction required to snap together the LEGO components of this 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo kit.
As per usual, the toy giant has nailed the details and the profile in the 15-cm long scale model. It's got the 911 Turbo's wide fenders and broad wheels, and the iconic 'whale tail.'
The 180-piece set comes with a LEGO Chris Pratt driver (all LEGO guys are Chris Pratt now, right?) wearing a brown leather coat, a
tee and a removable driving helmet, should he choose to lay those pylons down on a track instead of using them to save the 930's parking space in front of his LEGO home. So entitled, those Porsche drivers—

, the Speed Champions products don't incorporate electric motors and actually move on their own. The windscreen does come off, though, so Chris Pratt can get into the driver's seat without disassembling half the car.
The '74 Porsche set will be available for purchase in August.
