News Roundup: Tesla drivers get pissed, a rally-ready Chevy Sonic and more

Welcome to our weekly round-up of the biggest breaking stories on Driving.ca from this past week to get you caught up and ready to get on with your weekend, because it's hard keeping pace in a digital traffic jam.
Here's what you missed while you were away.
Pickup truck drivers 'ICE' Tesla drivers by blocking charging stations—real funny, guys!
Tesla owners across America are hoping that a few incidents at public Tesla Supercharger stations in North Carolina and Tennessee aren't the start of a greater trend. It's called
'ICE-ing' and it involves blocking a Tesla charging station with a non-electric truck
.
Get it?! Because when the Tesla pulls up to charge, it won't be able to because there's a big, gas-powered truck in its way. Get it!? Yeah, so it's not exactly a master prank—equivalent perhaps to the old bucket-of-water-on-the-top-of-the-door trick (the hair never did grow back over that scar).
Also, we've already suffered through another trend called 'Ice-ing', where the subject is forced to drink a whole bottle of Smirnoff Ice cooler in one go. We thought it would be hard to top, but the new act of 'ICE-ing' is even dumber.

It was just meant to be a confirmation for joining the waitlist for the upcoming and yet-to-be-fully-unveiled 2020 Toyota
Supra, but an email sent out by Toyota Germany seems to have inadvertently revealed the first full image of the sports coupe.

reports that those who signed up for the Supra waitlist on the German Toyota site received an email confirmation
including two images of what appears to be the production vehicle
. The 2020 Supra is slated to be (officially) revealed in Detroit in January.
Buy a $10 raffle ticket to win the Pope's one-off Lambo
The one-of-a-kind Huracán that Lamborghini gifted to Pope Francis in 2017 is going up for sale for the second time this year. Earlier, the hallowed Lambo, which has been blessed and signed by His Holiness, was let go for $1.2 million (over four times its regular value) at auction, but the deal has since fell through.
So, they're putting the whip up for grabs again, this time via
a raffle with tickets starting at $10
with proceeds benefiting multiple children's aid efforts around the world. If you've always wanted to own a Popemobile, now's your chance.
The Vulcanus Benz is a luxury office suite inside a panel van
With a tech-stuffed, luxed-out interior that feels like a private jet cabin of the future,
the Vulcanus Benz
is redefining the term 'work van.' At the base of this collab between Italian design house Italdesign and Chinese car tuners Xingchi Automobiles is a Mercedes-Benz V-Class, known in Canada as the Metris. A good, honest working van. But this creation uses the versatile interior to house high-def screens, reclining captain chairs and whatever else China's business elite needs to get those between-meeting emails off.
This V8 Chevy Sonic will enter rally races next year
Just when you think you've seen the most surprising rally car conversions possible, somebody comes along and
wedges a V8 into a Chevy Sonic.
The mad scientists behind the Chevrolet Sonic LS3 AWD are led by Pat Moro, professional rallycross driver and defier of what we thought possible.
PMR Motorsports have outfitted the small car with a big engine: a 6.2-litre LS3 V8 that, stock, makes 430 horsepower and 425 lb-ft of torque. Moro will race the Sonic LS3 at several American Rally Association races in 2019.
