Andre Villas Boas' start at Marseille took another turn for the worse as his side were thrashed by Rangers
at Ibrox on Sunday.
The new Marseille boss lost his first game in charge to Accrington Stanley in the week.
And his record became two defeats from two as a brace from Daniel Candeias and goals from Connor Goldson and Jermain Defoe secured an easy victory for the Gers.
The home side took the lead in the 17th minute, Alfredo Morelos finding Candeias on the edge of the box, the Portuguese forward taking a touch and firing high into the net.
He would double the lead shortly before half-time as he latched onto Ryan Jack's ball over the top and finished powerfully.
Steven Gerrard made five changes at the break but it didn't damage his side's rhythm, Rangers picking up where they left off in the second half.
They added a third midway through the half as Goldson was given a tap-in after Nikola Katic's header was saved.
The fourth goal arrived 16 minutes from time when Defoe headed home an Ojo cross from close range.
