Sarah Beeny's pick of the month is £225k home in Gloucestershire

A three-bedroom family home on the edge of the Cotswolds - while also being near several schools, a train station and shops - is a 'real steal' at £225,000, says property expert Sarah Beeny.
The semi-detached property is in Elmbridge, a suburb a mile outside of the city of Gloucester and is Sarah's latest pick in her regular MailOnline Property bargain home of the month series.
It boasts two reception rooms, spacious kitchen, three bedrooms and a family bathroom.
It also has the benefit of being on the market with no chain, making it ideal for buyers who are looking for a hassle-free move.
Sarah says: 'This property is a real steal - it's a great size, in a great location and has brilliantly thought-out outside areas, including parking space for four cars and a really lovely back garden.
'It's been much loved by its previous owners, so everything is in immaculate condition and it would make a really lovely family home.'
Upon entering the property, buyers are greeted by a large, airy hallway with ample space for storage furniture.
To the right is the spacious living room, which boasts a stunning bay window that acts as a feature point of the room.
It's neutrally decorated and has a good-quality fitted carpet, as well as a large coal-effect gas fire, framed by a marble surround and wooden mantelpiece.
Double glass doors lead from the living room into the dining room, which can be left open to create a large living space or closed to create two distinct rooms.
The dining room has ample space for a family-sized dining table and is the perfect room from which to entertain guests.

It has a feature dado rail and sliding double glass patio doors that lead out into the rear garden.
The property is on the market via Tepilo, the online estate agent founded by Sarah.
She said: 'I love homes that have double doors separating rooms, as they offer so much flexibility.
I love homes that have double doors separating rooms, as they offer so much flexibility
'You can keep them closed to keep the rooms separate or open them up to create a large, multifunctional space.
'When these two rooms are opened up, they create a brilliant space for entertaining.
'Open the French doors up too and that space becomes even larger thanks to the outside patio.'
The kitchen is generously sized for a semi and comprises traditional cream units finished with wooden worktops and colourful splashback tiles.
It also has a built-in electric oven and hob with overhead extraction fan, ample space for kitchen appliances, including a washing machine, dishwasher and American style fridge-freezer, and a small breakfast bar.
A door leads from the kitchen into the spacious outside storage area that is currently used as a utility room and also homes the downstairs toilet.
Sarah said: 'This is a really good-sized kitchen and there's the potential to open it out further by extending to the side and incorporating the outdoor storage space.'
Upstairs in the property are three bedrooms and the house bathroom. Two are large doubles and the third is smaller, but also has space for a double bed.
All the bedrooms are neutrally decorated, have neutral fitted carpets and in-built wardrobes, so there's plenty of storage space.
The house bathroom has a modern suite, with a shower over the bath and a large window that allows ample light in.
Outside to the front of the property is a large, paved driveway with space for four cars and to the back is a stunning garden, containing a pretty patio and large lawn bordered by plants, flowers and shrubs.
There's also a large shed, so plenty of space to store garden equipment and outdoor furniture.
Sarah concluded: 'The house's outside space is a huge selling point. The front driveway is extremely generous, so parking will never be an issue, and the back garden is lovely. It's also enclosed, so both private and safe for kids.
'The large patio area is perfect for al fresco dining and the lawn is the ideal playing spot for kids or somewhere to sunbath and relax for adults.
'The space is also large enough to allow for a generous extension, so growing families could adapt it as their needs change.
'This home is in excellent condition and in a lovely Gloucester location - and all without a chain. It definitely won't be on the market for long.'
There's an abundance of local amenities in the immediate area, including schools, shops, pubs and restaurants.
Schools include Sir Thomas Rich's School, Elmbridge Junior School, Elmbridge Infant School and Longlevens Infant School.
Gloucester itself is known as the cathedral city of the Cotswolds and lies between the Welsh border, the Cotswolds and the Forest of Dean.
The vibrant and multicultural city is home to an array of shops, eateries and pubs and the city centre is pedestrianised, so getting around on foot is safe and easy.
There's also the Gloucester Quays, which has been transformed from a derelict industrial wasteland into a thriving quarter complete with an outlet shopping centre, multi-screen cinema, the Waterways Museum and a variety of new bars and restaurants.
The city is close to the M5 motorway and 10 minute drive to a large train station which has regular services to Bristol, Birmingham, London and Wales.
Gloucester is also home to the biggest Walls' Ice Cream factory in Europe and the nearby Cotswolds is home to numerous celebrities, including Kate Moss.
