Tuchel reveals he knew Neymar wanted to leave before Copa America

Paris Saint-Germain
boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed he knew Neymar
wanted to leave the club before the Copa America, but admits he is 'calm' over the Barcelona
target's future.
The Brazilian forward has been heavily linked with a return to the Catalan giants after leaving the Nou Camp for the Ligue 1
champions for a world-record fee of £198million just two years ago.
Neymar, who has reportedly expressed his desire to depart, finally reported back to PSG on Monday after controversially failing to show up for pre-season on time last week.
'I am always disappointed when a player turns up late. But it is clear between us, now it is between the club and Ney. We work together,' Tuchel told RMC
.
'Did I know he wanted to leave? Yes, I found out before the Copa America. But it is something between the club and Ney.
'I am the coach, it's my player. If he is in the locker room, this is my player and I work with him.
'I'm ready for everything. We have to be flexible. I do not talk about it with him. I'm calm, it's a thing for the club. I do not interfere, it's not my subject.'
The latest in the transfer saga is that Barcelona have put forward a verbal offer to PSG for Neymar, who is still recovering from an ankle injury, according to French outlet L'Equipe
.
Tuchel's side secured a 6-1 victory over Dynamo Dresden in their first pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.
